The food was fantastic and our tour guide, Monse, was very helpful and knowledgeable! We had a great time and ate so much good food! We were shown a lot of historical buildings and given a lot of interesting information between restaurants.
Kiomi was a fabulous, knowledgeable , friendly and enthusiastic guide with a solid background to do this type of work (ask her about Bruce Springsteen!!!!) Kiomi gave us a wonderful day of tasting some of Mexico‘s most delicious food offerings, as well as providing historical background of different places we walked through. I skipped a few of the tastings solely due to my preferences but the other six things that were offered were out of this world. I really learned a lot in five hours and I ate the most delicious things!!! I highly recommend.
Incredible food tour! You learn so much about the culture of Mexico City and you go to places that you would NEVER know to visit! The food was incredible and you get almost a whole meal at every stop!!! Our guide, Kiomi, was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! I highly recommend this food tour!!
Monse did an incredible job balancing the fun of the tour with the education! We learned so much, not only about tacos and mezcal, but also about CDMX! Our group was incredible and by the end of the evening, it felt like we were having a night out with old friends. The tour does last about 3.5-4 hrs, but it feels quick! They also have a van to take you from stop to stop so you’re not walking the whole time. Word of advice - come very very hungry because they are not skimping on the tacos!!
Tacos and mezcal, no better combination. We tried tacos at five different places and had Mezcal tasting at one. This was definitely a great excursion. Come hungry, because you get nine tacos throughout the 3 1/2 hour tour. Definitely recommend.
